Mr. Erin Stroup

Lower Moreland HIgh School, Huntingdon Valley, PA

Erin Stroup is an Educator/Saxophonist/Composer in the Philadelphia Area. He is also a Cannonball Saxophone and RICO Reed Artist Endorser. Erin is currently the saxophonist with the Sean J Kennedy Quartet. Originally from Williamsport Pa, Erin has performed and recorded with some of today’s best musicians including Bob Mintzer, James Carter, Liberty DeVitto, Sid Simmons, Frank DiBussolo, Jerry Vivino, Mickey Roker, Mike Merritt, and Tim Price. Erin has also performed at the finest concert venues throughout the East Coast, including the Kimmel Center, Chris’ Jazz Cafe, Ortlieb’s Jazz Haus, World Cafe Live, Allentown Symphony Hall, The House of Blues, and the finest casino-hotels in Atlantic City. Erin is the proud director of bands for the Lower Moreland High School in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
The Lower Moreland High School Jazz Ensemble has performed at the Swing Central Jazz Festival in Savannah, Georgia, Disney World, The House of Blues, and various prestigious locations and festivals throughout the country. The ensemble has performed with and/or had clinics with Jeff Coffin, Bob Mintzer, Herlin Riley, Wycliffe Gordon, Rodney Whitaker, Aaron Diehl, Terrell Stafford, John Fedchock, members of the Tower of Power, and countless other jazz greats. They are incredibly excited and greatful to be attending the Berklee Jazz Festival for the first time.
